Alinta Limited, formerly Alinta Mergeco Limited, operates in segments, such as Energy Markets, Energy Distribution, Asset Management, Power Generation and Energy Investments. Energy Markets incorporates the retail sales of gas and electricity, the Wesfarmers liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) contract, and the supply of wholesale energy in Western Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. Energy Distribution includes the AlintaGas Networks, NSW gas distribution network and Victorian electricity distribution networks. Asset Management includes entities responsible for the operating, construction and maintenance activities of the infrastructure assets, in which Alinta holds an ownership interest. Power Generation includes cogeneration units located at Alcoa�s Pinjarra alumina refinery, and contributions from the Cawse cogeneration plant and Wattle Point wind farm. Energy Investments represents Alinta's share of equity investments in energy, water and telecommunications assets.
