ABB Grain Limited is engaged in marketing and trading of agricultural commodities; the handling and storage of grain, and other bulk commodities; the provision of financial products to growers, and malt manufacture and marketing. The Company operates through five business segments: national supply chain (including the provision of storage and handling services for grain and other bulk commodities); grain marketing, malt manufacture, financial services (including underwriting fees and interest margins on loans and advances to growers and pools), and other. The Company's subsidiaries include ABB Grain Export Ltd, Adelaide Malting Company Pty Ltd, AusBulk Ltd, Joe White Maltings Pty Ltd, Jossco Australia Pty Ltd, Maltco International Pty Ltd and Professional Grain Services Pty Ltd. On March 31, 2007, the Company completed the acquisition of the business and assets of Adelaide Wool Company.
