Ambri Limited (AMBRI) is an Australian technology development company integrating biotechnology, nanotechnology and electronics to create biosensors for medical and industrial applications. The Company is focused on the development of a biosensor platform incorporating its Ion Channel Switch (ICS) Technology as the basis of products for the human point-of-care diagnostic market. The rights to use AMBRI technology for commercial applications in fields outside the human professional medical market have been licensed since November 2002, to Biosensor Enterprises LLB (BEL), a company jointly owned by Dow Corning Corporation and Genencor International. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, AMBRI started on a project to build a modified design membrane as the basis of biosensors for medical diagnostic applications that require prolonged storage at room temperature.
