Acrux Limited is an Australian drug delivery company engaged in the development and commercialization of a range of pharmaceutical products for global markets, using its technology to administer drugs through the skin. The Company's fast-drying, invisible sprays or liquids provide a delivery platform with low or no skin irritation. Acrux has seven products in clinical development, including Evamist (Estradiol MDTS) to treat menopause symptoms, Testosterone MDTS to treat decreased libido in women, Nestorone MDTS contraceptive spray for women, Fentanyl UDTS to treat chronic pain and Testosterone MD-Lotion to treat testosterone deficiency in men. Acrux has the United States rights for Evamist and Testosterone MDTS to VIVUS Inc. It has the Australia/New Zealand distribution rights for Testosterone MDTS and Fentanyl UDTS to CSL Limited. Acrux has also licensed its technology to Eli Lilly and Company for veterinary healthcare products.
