Advent Limited is an Australia-based company that operates in two divisions: Development Capital and Equipment Rental & Sales. The Development Capital division is engaged in the investment of funds in development capital opportunities in Australia. The Equipment Rental & Sales division is engaged in short-term rental of a range of scientific, test and measurement equipment, computers, faxes, printers, audiovisual, chemical analysis, medical, communications, and life style products. It principally operates in Australia, South East Asia and New Zealand. The Company's investments are managed by Advent Private Capital Pty Ltd (formerly Advent Management Group Limited). During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, Advent Limited, through TR Corporation Pty Ltd, acquired Hirecomm Australia Pty Ltd, Skycomm (Aust) Pty Ltd and Integrity Data Systems Pty Ltd. On February 1, 2006, the Company sold its investment in TR Corporation Pty Ltd.
