Adamus Resources Limited is a mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on its Ashanti Gold Project located in Ghana, West Africa. The project consists of a contiguous block of granted tenure covering in excess of 500 square kilometers. Adamus owns 90% of the project with the Ghanaian government holding a 10% free carried interest. The Company's project area hosts both the Salman and Anwia deposits, containing a combined resource base of 22 metric ton. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006 (fiscal 2006), the Company commenced a full feasibility study into the development of the Southern Ashanti Gold Project. In February 2006, it completed a total of 60,000 meters of reverse circulation and diamond core drilling at the Southern Ashanti Gold Project. The majority of the drilling had been focused on the Salman deposit where approximately 900,000 ounces in resources had been defined. On July 24, 2006, it acquired Nkroful Mining Limited, which owns the Anwia South project.
