Austereo Group Limited (Austereo) is engaged in commercial radio broadcasting in Australia. The Company operates radio stations in all mainland Australian capital cities, and the two regional cities of Newcastle and Canberra. Austereo has two national networks, Today and Triple M. The programming of Austereo stations is targeted to under-45 audiences. The Company has a 50% ownership interest in Sydney FM Facilities Pty Ltd, a 50% ownership interest in Melbourne FM Facilities Pty Ltd and a 66.7% ownership interest in Perth FM Facilities Pty Ltd, which are radio transmitters; a 50% ownership interest in Radio Newcastle Pty Ltd, a radio broadcaster, and a 50% ownership interest in Hellas Radio Services EPE, which is involved in radio services.
