Australian Education Trust (the Trust) is a specialist childcare center property owner. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006 (fiscal 2006), the Trust owned a total of 249 childcare centers in locations around Australia and New Zealand. Each center is leased to and managed by subsidiaries of ABC Learning Centres Ltd (ABC), a private operator of childcare centers in Australia. Subsequent to fiscal 2006, the Trust completed the settlement of three properties in Victoria and New South Wales.
