Australian Foundation Investment Company Limited (AFIC) is an Australia-based investment company specializing in investing in Australian equities. The Company focuses to provide its shareholders with investment returns through access to a steady stream of fully franked dividends and increase in the value of capital invested. AFIC's top 10 investments, as of June 30, 2006, include BHP Billiton, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Westpac Banking Corporation, National Australia Bank, Wesfarmers, Rio Tinto, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, Woolworths, Telstra Corporation and Toll Holdings. On July 1, 2006, the Company established a services company, Australian Investment Companies Group Limited (AICG).
