Atlas Gold Limited is a mineral exploration company. It carried out exploration on its tenements and applied for or acquired additional tenements with the objective of identifying iron ore, gold and other economic mineral deposits. Atlas' main focus is the Pardoo Project, located 75 kilometers east of Port Hedland, which covers much of the Ord Range and Goldsworthy Greenstone Belts and contain the Nimingarra Iron Formation. Atlas' other project areas of Farrel Well, Abydos and Turner River contain similar geological units and iron ore prospectivity. In addition to iron ore, significant gold, base metal and nickel-copper anomalism and/or mineralisation has also been identified within Atlas' Pilbara projects.
