Alliance Resources Limited is engaged in gold, uranium and copper-gold exploration in Victoria and South Australia. The Company has three main projects: Arkaroola uranium, copper-gold project, South Australia; Maldon gold project, Victoria, and Warrina copper-gold project, South Australia. The Arkaroola project is a joint venture between Quasar Resources Pty Ltd (Quasar 75%) and Alliance Resources (25%). During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006 (fiscal 2006), Quasar completed work at the Beverley 4 Mile uranium prospect (4 Mile) and the M1 & M2 copper-gold prospect. As of June 30, 2006, two zones of uranium mineralization had been defined at 4 Mile. In fiscal 2006, the Company the in-fill and step-out drilling at Alliance South Prospect, in Maldon gold project, with two holes completed for 558 meters.
