Austar United Communications Limited is principally engaged in the delivery of subscription television services, the development and distribution of television channels, provision of data services and mobile telephony services throughout regional Australia. The Company has two business segments: subscription services and radio spectrum licenses. Subscription services represent subscription television distribution operations, Internet, interactive television and mobile telephony operations and license fee income. Radio spectrum license segment represents income and gains earned from the leasing of radio spectrum licenses. Some of its wholly owned subsidiaries include CTV Pty Limited, Ilona Investments Pty Limited, Jacolyn Pty Limited, Minorite Pty Limited, STV Pty Limited, Chippawa Pty Limited, Dove Vale Pty Limited, Kidillia Pty Limited, Windytide Pty Limited and Wollongong Microwave Pty Limited.
