Australian Mines Limited is an Australia-based mining and exploration company. The principal activities of the Company include the mining of nickel ore at the Blair Nickel mine and exploration for nickel and gold in the surrounding tenements located near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Its mining focus continued to be in the Blair Deeps and Area 57 regions of the Blair Nickel mine. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006 (fiscal 2006), Australian Mines Limited produced approximately 41,339 dry tons at a grade of 3.49% nickel for 1.444 nickel tons. During fiscal 2006, the Company relinquished its 51% interest in the joint venture, Cavenagh Range E69/1389 and E69/1391 and the Blackstone Range E69/1390 tenements.
