Babcock & Brown Wind (BBW) Partners is a specialist investment fund focused on the wind energy sector. The Company's principal activities include managing its portfolio of wind farms, and seeking to identify and acquire additional wind farms, which meet BBW's investment criteria. It operates in one segment, the generation of electricity from wind energy. BBW has wind farms in Australia, Europe and the United States. Babcock & Brown Infrastructure Management Pty Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Babcock & Brown Limited (BNB), manages BBW. Its portfolio comprises an interest in or agreement to buy 23 wind farms on three continents that have a total installed capacity of approximately 1,150 megawatt. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, its investments included Sweetwater 1, Sweetwater 2, Caprock, Blue Canyon, Combine Hills and Crescent Ridge. On 30 June 2006, BBW acquired 100% of the Class B membership interests in Crescent Ridge Holdings from Eurus Energy America.
