Bendigo Mining Limited is an Australian mining company engaged in underground development, plant construction and ore delineation at the Bendigo Goldfield. The Bendigo Goldfield has produced 22 million ounces of gold and is estimated to contain high-grade gold mineralization of over 11 million ounces (oz). The first gold bar from the Company's Kangaroo Flat Mine was poured in July 2006. The 250-oz (7.5 kilogram) dore bar was produced during commissioning of the Kangaroo Flat processing plant. Plant construction, under project management of Ausenco Limited, commenced in May 2005, and was 95% complete at June 30, 2006. During such time, underground development of 4,520 meter was completed.
