From Whalewatcher: The below image shows all ASX released assayed drill holes on the Las Minerale Central strike zone. Note the strike zone as per ASX released assayed drill holes is 900 metres long. I have totaled up all the mineralized sections of each assayed drill hole and came up with an average grade of 1.56% Cu. Now please note this is an average over the entire Las Minerale strike zone of the ASX released assayed drill holes of mineralization only. I can also tell you that we have a varying width along strike, I am using an average width of 35 metres. The depth is open so I can only use the known depth of 200 metres. Therefore we end up with the following

The below image shows all ASX released assayed drill holes averaging better than 2.00% Cu on the Las Minerale Central strike zone. Note how we still cover an 800 metre long strike zone. Using the same method as above the average grade for these drill holes is 3.88% Cu, much higher than the 1.56% Cu over all ASX released assayed drill holes.

Now it gets complicated because we have been told that all ASX released assays will be announced using Suite 1 assaying method, where as the JORC release will contain Suite 1 through to Suite 4 methods. Example LMDH-007 using suite 1 method came up with came up with 55 metres averaging 8.21% Cu from 45 to 108 metres. Yet using the Suite 4 method came up with an average of 99.65% Cu over the 1 metre sections assayed (see ASX report 17th Dec 2007).
