Charter Hall Group is engaged in property investment. The Company consists of Charter Hall Property Trust (the Trust) and Charter Hall Limited. The responsible entity of the Trust is Charter Hall Funds Management Limited (CHFML). The parent entity of CHFML is Charter Hall Holdings Pty Limited. The Charter Hall Core Plus Office Fund is a wholly owned sub-trust of the trust. In December 2006, Charter Hall Core Plus Office Fund acquired a 50% interest in the 26,000 square meters Northbank Plaza refurbishment project and an adjoining development site known as 275 George Street, from Queensland-based developer, Indigo. In June 2007, the Company acquired a portfolio of six bulky goods retail assets (Bunnings Warehouses) located in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Australian Capital Territory from the Bunnings Group. In addition, the Company acquired Bluewater Plaza Shopping Centre, located in Redcliffe, Queensland. The center is anchored by a 20-year lease to Woolworths Ltd.
