Centro Shopping America Trust, formerly Galileo Shopping American Trust, is an Australia-based trust that invests indirectly in a portfolio of power, community and neighborhood shopping centers in North America, via Galileo America, LLC (a joint venture company). The Company's manager is Galileo Funds Management Limited. During the year ended June 30, 2006 (during 2006), the Trust held an indirect interest in 132 power and community centers in the United States of America. It's property investment includes Albany Plaza, Aurora Plaza, Beach Crossing, Chamberlain Plaza and Green River Plaza. It has a wholly owned subsidiary, Galileo America, Inc. On July 20, 2005, the joint venture company entered into a purchase and sale agreement to acquire 69 power, community and neighborhood shopping centers from New Plan Excel Realty Trust, Inc. During 2006, Conway Plaza, Lady's Island, Springdale Mall and Wilkes Barre Marketplace were sold.
