Flight Centre Limited, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the sale of international and domestic travel, and travel-related products and services. Flight Centre (China) Pty Ltd has entered into a 50% joint venture with China Comfort Travel Co Ltd to form Flight Centre -Comfort Travel Business Co Ltd in Beijing as part of the expansion of the Flight Centre corporate business into the Asian region. The Company principally operates in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. On July 1, 2005, the Company acquired the business of Friends Globe Travels Ltd, a corporate travel agency located in India. On March 1, 2006, it acquired Bannockburn Travel Management, a corporate travel agency located in the United States. On December 15, 2005, the Company disposed of the Seymour College group of companies in New Zealand.
