Ferrowest Limited (Ferrowest) is an Australia-based mining company. On September 26, 2005, the Company entered into a joint venture with Comet Resources Limited in respect of ferrous mineral rights over the Yogi iron mineralisation located 14 kilometers east of Yalgoo in the mid west region of Western Australia. On December 16, 2005, Ferrowest entered a sale and purchase agreement with Comet Resources Limited that superseded the joint venture agreement giving the Company 100% of the ferrous mineral rights to the Yogi mineralisation. The Company commenced a programme of ground magnetic surveys over the Yogi mineralisation and commissioned preliminary flora and fauna surveys.
