Goodman Fielder Limited is an Australian food company. The Company operates in four segments: Baking Australia, which includes packaged loaf bread, bread rolls, chilled bread and other baked products; Meadow Lea Australia, which includes retail flour, margarine and spreads, cake mixes, mayonnaise, frozen meals and dressings; Commercial, which includes bulk fats and oils, bulk flour, stock feed, chickens, ice creams and snacks, and Retail New Zealand, which includes retail flour, margarine and spreads, cake mixes, loaf bread, pies and pizza and other baked goods, dressings and frozen meals, milk, yogurt, cheese and related dairy products, chilled meats and small goods. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, Goodman Fielder acquired New Zealand Dairy Foods Holdings Limited and the Baking, Spreads and Oils businesses from Burns, Philip and Company Limited. On July 12, 2006, a subsidiary of the Company acquired the business of Hawley Nominees Pty Limited.
