Gunns Ltd is an Australia-based company engaged in forest management and development, milling, processing, merchandising and export of wood products, merchandising of hardware and building supplies, management of forestry, vineyard and horticultural based managed investment schemes, construction and wine production and sale. It operates in three business segments: forest products, which is engaged in forestry management and the processing, manufacture and sale of forest products, including timber, veneers, woodchips and manufactured products; managed investment schemes, which is engaged in the establishment and financing of managed woodlots and vinelots, and provision of related forestry and vineyard services, and other, which is engaged in merchandising, construction services, vineyard management and wine production. The Company owns 185,000 hectares of freehold land and manages in excess of 110,000 hectares of plantations.
