Goodman Group is an integrated property firm that owns, develops and manages industrial and business space through out the world. The group invests in business parks, office parks, industrial estates and warehouse and distribution centres. Goodman Group also offers a range of listed and unlisted property funds. The group also makes strategic investments in managed funds and manages property investments on behalf of its clients. The Group’s organizes itself into following business segments:

- Fund Management
- Property Investment
- Goodman Property Investors
As of June 30, 2007, the Group has total assets of A$36.9 billion, 734 properties and total space of 11.4 million square meter under management. Goodman employs 1200 people and operates through more than 30 offices in 20 countries.
Fund Management business has a suite of listed and unlisted property funds domiciled across Europe and Asia-Pacific. The major funds include:
- Asia Pacific: Goodman Property Trust; Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust; Goodman Australia Industrial Fund; and Macquarie Goodman Hong Kong Logistics Fund
- Europe: Arlington Business Parks Partnership; Goodman European Business Parks Fund; Goodman European Logistics Fund; and Celogix Property Fund

The Goodman Group formed in 2007 has its origins in Macquarie Goodman Industrial Trust (now Goodman Industrial Trust) which was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1995. In 2005, the group embarked on a series of acquisitions designed to increase its breadth and depth and expand its operations into new markets. It acquired Arlington, Eurinpro, Akeler, Rosemound and J-REP.

The group focuses on own–develop–manage customer service offering enabling it to build an in-depth understanding of customer needs, resulting in long-term relationships, superior investment returns. The Group buys property for the long term and focuses on property development across geographies including Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the UK.

The group’s (Macquarie Goodman Group) total revenues and other income increased 187.1% to A$737 million in 2006 from A$256.7 million in 2005. During the same period, the group’s net profit increased 630.4% to A$500.3 million from A$68.5 million in 2005.
