Hastie Group Limited is engaged in the design, manufacture, installation, and service of industrial and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration products and systems. The Company's operating segments include Air Conditioning Installation, which includes the design, component manufacture and installation of industrial and commercial air conditioning products and systems; Air Conditioning Maintenance, which includes the maintenance and servicing of industrial and commercial air conditioning products and systems, and Refrigeration, which includes the design, installation, manufacture and service of industrial and commercial refrigeration products and systems, primarily for retail and industrial customers. On July 1, 2006, the Company acquired the business of EMAC Services Pty Ltd, an air conditioning maintenance company. Also, on July 1, 2006, it acquired the business of Heyday Group Pty Limited, an electrical installation business.
