IWL Limited is an Australian specialty designer, developer and operator of wealth management technologies and ancillary solutions. Its principal business segments include Wholesale Broking, Retail Broking, Advisory Software, Portfolio Solutions, Independent Investment Research and Central Services. Its product suite spans financial advisory software, both desktop and Web; middleware, client-centric front-end and transactional-based solutions; broking solutions, including direct retail, wholesale and turnkey outsourcing; wholesale and retail of independent investment research, and financial product distribution. Its trading brands include VisiPlan, VisiWeb, Mercury, BizmaX InvestorWeb Research and InvestorWeb.com.au. In April 2007, IWL Limited completed the divestment of its specialist financial advisory software division, comprising VisiPlan Pty Ltd and associated assets, to Xplan Technology Pty Ltd, the wealth management software subsidiary of Iress Market Technology Limited.
