Lion Selection Limited is an Australia-based resource investment company, providing patient equity capital to selected small and medium enterprises (SME's). Lion Selection invests in Australian mining and exploration companies with gold and base metal activities in Australia, Africa and South East Asia. Lion Selection Limited has been formed as a result of the merger between Lion Selection Group Limited and AuSelect Limited. Lion has a 30% interest (through Sedimentary Holdings) in the Cracow Gold Mine in Queensland. The joint venture is with Newcrest Mining, who operates both the mining and exploration activities and holds the remaining 70% interest. The Company has investments in Allegiance Mining NL, De Grey Mining Limited, Exco Resources NL, Havilah Resources NL, Perseverance Corporation Limited, View Resources Limited, Westonia Mines Limited, Austindo Resources Corporation NL, Indophil Resources NL, Lafayette Mining Limited and Copperbelt Selection NL.
