Macquarie Bank Limited provides investment banking and financial services. The Company has four segments. Asset and Wealth Management division is engaged in the distribution and manufacture of funds management products. Financial Markets division trades in fixed income, equities, currency, commodities and derivative products. Investment Banking division is engaged in corporate and structured finance, advisory, underwriting, facilitation, broking and real estate/property development. Lending division is engaged in banking activities, mortgages, margin lending and leasing. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2007 (fiscal 2006), the Company acquired RWE Thames Water Holdings, Corona Energy Holdings Limited, Cervus Financial Corp and Macquarie North American Infrastructure, Inc. On October 26, 2006, the Company acquired 100% of the business assets of Longview Oil and Gas. In April 2007, the Company acquired Airwave, a provider of public safety communication services.
