Macquarie Media Group (MMG) invests in a range of media assets. The Company comprises Macquarie Media Trust (MMT), Macquarie Media Holdings Limited (MMHL) and Macquarie Media International Limited (MMIL). MMT is a managed investment company that has been established in the form of a unit trust. MMHL and MMIL invest in a range of media assets. MMG has two segments. The commercial radio broadcasting segment consists of commercial radio broadcast licenses held throughout Australia. This business operates solely within MMHL. The cable television segment consists of cable television operations in Taiwan. This business operates entirely within MMIL. MMHL owns Macquarie Media Group Pty Limited that operates as the holding company of Macquarie Regional Radioworks Pty Limited, which operates 85 radio broadcasting stations throughout Australia. On May 5, 2006, MMG acquired a 60% interest in Taiwan Broadband Communications, which operates as a cable television operator in Taiwan.
