Monarch Gold Mining Company Limited is engaged in mineral exploration and evaluation. The Company's projects include Davyhurst gold project, Minjar Gold Project, Bountiful Deposit, Sunraysia Deposit, Sand King Deposit and Bellevue Gold Project. Monarch Gold Mining Company Limited's exploration activities include the Nickel Australia gold prospect, Callion prospect, Olympic Torch prospect, Siberia gold trend, Python Shear, Carbine and Yandal Lagoon prospect. The Minjar Gold Project is located 500 kilometers northeast of Perth in western Australia. Monarch Gold Mining Company Limited holds an 80% interest in the Lake Johnston joint venture. In December 2005, the Company completed the acquisition of the Davyhurst gold project. In July 2006, Monarch Gold Mining Company acquired the Minjar Gold Project.
