Nufarm Limited (Nufarm) is engaged in the manufacturing and supply of a range of agricultural chemicals used by farmers to protect crops from damage caused by weeds, pests and disease. The Company has production and marketing operations worldwide and sells products in more than 100 countries. In September 6, 2006, the Company acquired a license to develop Roundup Ready canola in Australia. In May 2006, the Company made two acquisitions in the seeds business: Dovuro Seeds, a canola seed production and marketing company, and Nutrihealth Pty Ltd., a canola seed breeding company. On July 31, 2006, Nufarm sold its New Zealand based animal health toll manufacturing business to Argenta Manufacturing Limited.
