It also owns equity interests in BSkyB and DIRECTV, which are engaged in the direct broadcast satellite business. The Company engages in marketing operations and magazine publishing. It is engaged in the newspaper and magazine publishing business. Through HarperCollins Publishers, it is engaged in English language book publishing.
