OceanaGold Corporation is a gold producer in Australasia. OceanaGold's principal operations are in the South Island of New Zealand, where the Company has land holdings in two goldfields: Macraes and Reefton, and Didipio Valley in the Philippines, where it holds a portfolio of development and exploration activities. Macraes produces an average of 180,000 ounces gold per year. It has more than eight years of remaining mine life, with resources of 4.6 million gold ounces. In November 2006, OceanaGold merged with Climax Mining. The Didipio Project in the Philippines is acquired through the Climax Mining merger.
