Pacific Brands Limited is engaged in the manufacturing, sourcing, marketing and distribution of everyday-essential brands across the underwear, socks, hosiery, intimate apparel, footwear, pillows, bed linen, bedding and sporting goods markets. All of its products are sold predominantly throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Pacific Brands operates through four major segments: Underwear & Hosiery, Outerwear & Sport, Home Comfort and Footwear. Together, these segments market, distribute, import and manufacture underwear, intimate apparel, socks and hosiery; casual outerwear, workwear, sports clothing, sports footwear and sporting equipment; mattresses, pillows, bed linen, bedding accessory products and foam, and women's, men's and children's footwear, respectively. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, the Company acquired Sheridan Australia Pty. Ltd. and Arthur Ellis Limited (Homewares New Zealand and Everwarm Survival businesses). In April 2007, it acquired Yakka Group of Companies.
