Publishing and Broadcasting Limited (PBL) is a gaming, entertainment and media company. The Company operates in three segments: Television, Publishing and Gaming. The Television segment includes the operation of commercial television station. Publishing segment is engaged in magazine publishing and distribution. The Gaming segment operates fully integrated gaming and entertainment facilities. Its subscription television interests include FOXTEL and Premier Media Group. The Company is developing three casino/hotel properties in Macau through its 50:50 joint venture with Hong Kong-based Melco International Development Limited. It owns 24% of Australia's broadcast and television production services business, Global Television Limited. In March 2007, PBL restructured its Gaming division through the formation of a new International Business Development group. In June 2007, PBL sold a further 25% interest in PBL Media Holdings Pty Limited and also sold its Ticketek and Acer Arena interests.
