Riversdale Mining Ltd (Riversdale) is a junior mining company. The principal activity of the Company is mining and development of a number of projects in Southern Africa. Riversdale, through its Riversdale Anthracite Colliery (RAC) project and Zululand Anthracite Colliery (ZAC) operation, has acquired anthracite asset in South Africa. RAC project area is centred on the Kwa-Ntabankulu Mountain, located 30km south-east of Vryheid. ZAC is located within the Zululand coalfield of northern Kwa-Zulu Natal. Its other projects include Mozambique Coal Project and Deep E Block project. On December 1, 2005, the Company completed the acquisition of 74% of Zululand Anthracite Colliery (Proprietary) Ltd, an operating mine producing anthracite in the Zululand region of South Africa. Riversdale has operations in Australia and Africa.
