Sundance Resources Limited is engaged in the exploration of iron, copper, gold, nickel and other base metals. The Company's focus is on an iron ore project in Cameroon in Central West Africa, and copper projects in Bolivia and Chile in South America. As of June 30, 2006, it held a 100% interest in the Chacarilla Copper Project in Bolivia. The Chacarilla Copper Project is a near surface copper deposit. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006 (fiscal 2006), it acquired Cam Iron (SA), which is the owner of an exploration permit, which covers an area of 875 square kilometers over the Mbalam Iron Ore Province in Cameroon. Cam Iron (SA) holds a 95% interest in the Mbalam Iron Ore Project. During fiscal 2006, it also acquired Asesorias e Inversiones Futuro Limitada, which owns 100% of the Mantos Grandes Copper Project in Chile, for which the Company previously held an option to acquire. The Company acquired its remaining 50% interest in the Chacarilla Copper Project on April 20, 2006.
