Stockland is a diversified property group focusing on commercial, industrial, residential and retail properties. It owns, manages and develops sub-regional shopping centers throughout Australia and New Zealand. Stockland holds 40 properties, which includes the Retail Projects business that specializes in acquiring, developing and on-selling neighborhood shopping centers and homemaker centers to investors. The commercial division owns and manages 28 properties, mainly commercial office buildings, and provides integrated property services to tenants. The industrials and office parks division comprises 25 properties with a portfolio of seven distribution parks, 11 office/warehouse properties and seven office parks. The development division has 83 residential and 12 apartment projects. The Saville Hotel Group, its hotel division, manages and operates apartment style hotels in key locations around Australia. In February 2007, the Company acquired Australian Retirement Communities.
