Skilled Group Limited is engaged in the provision of supplementary trades and professional labor, maintenance services, project management, healthcare professionals, customer contact solutions, and trainee and apprenticeship management to the public and private sectors. It is organized into two segments. Revenue from the SKILLED Brand segment is earned from the provision of blue-collar and technical professionals on the basis of hours worked. Revenue from the Other Brands segment is earned through the provision of nursing, call center and blue-collar staff on the basis of hours worked. The brands included in this segment are Excelior, Origin Healthcare and its subsidiaries, SEM Fire and Rescue, PeopleCo. and Extraman. In March 2006, it acquired, via Origin Healthcare Holdings Pty. Ltd., ProSafe Personnel Pty. Ltd. In August 2006, SKILLED acquired The TESA Group Pty. Ltd. In December 2006, it acquired Damstra Mining Services. In January 2007, it acquired Swan Contract Personnel.
