SMS and its controlled entities develop, manage and implement information technology and business solutions. It provides business services in five categories: consulting and project management, recruitment and contract labor services, information technology services, business and systems integration, and business transformation. SMS service offerings deliver operational strategy and execution to the banking and finance, insurance, defense, information and communications technology, mining and resources, government and health sectors. Consulting and project management is provided through the SMS Consulting business unit. M&T Resources business unit provides recruitment and contract labor services. In February 2007, it acquired Operational Concepts. In March 2007, SMS acquired Forward Media. In April 2007, the Company announced the acquisition of AVOGA.
