Sphere Investments Ltd. (Sphere) is an exploration and resource development company, with interests in iron ore, gold and base metals, and oil and gas. The Company's flagship project is the Guelb el Aouj Iron Ore (magnetite) project in Mauritania, West Africa. Stage 2B of the three stage bankable feasibility study on the 7Mt/a Guelb el Aouj DR pellet project in Mauritania commenced in February 2006. Sphere holds two iron ore exploration licenses in its own right: EL264 and EL172. In addition, the Company holds five gold and base metal exploration licenses and two oil and gas production sharing agreements in Mali.
