Tanami Gold NL, formerly Taiga Minerals NL, is an Australia-based mineral exploration company. The Company operates primarily in Western Australia and the Northern Territory, in the gold mining and exploration industry. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006 (fiscal 2006), the Coyote Gold Project feasibility study was completed and all approvals were gained for the development of the Project. In December 2005, the Company announced that the Project would be developed in 2006 based on a resource inventory of 572,000 ounces of gold with a Stage 1 mine life of five years at a production rate of 50,000 ounces of gold per annum. In fiscal 2006, it undertook exploration programs at Coyote and upon its landholdings in the Tanami-Arunta Province. In fiscal 2006, Tanami Gold NL sold its interest in Jabiru Metals Limited and sold the uranium rights to its tenements.
