Transurban Group is an international toll road developer and investor with substantial assets in Australia, an asset in the United States (Pocahontas Parkway), and interests in several other parts of the United States and United Kingdom. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, it was engaged in the operation of the Melbourne CityLink and the M2 Hills Motorway, development of the Westlink M7 Motorway projects, provision of tolling and customer management system for the Westlink M7 Motorway project, tendering for participation in and/or acquisition of other toll roads, development of electronic tolling and other intelligent transport systems for implementation in both domestic and international markets, and identification and development of infrastructure projects. On May 1, 2006, Transurban acquired Tollaust Pty Limited, including acquisition costs from Abigroup Limited and Egis Projects SA. In May 2007, the Company completed the acquisition of Sydney Road Group.
