The Reject Shop Limited operates in the discount-variety segment of the retail industry in Australia. It offers a range of general consumer merchandise, such as toiletries, cosmetics, homewares, personal care products, hardware, basic furniture, confectionery and snack food, and lifestyle and seasonal merchandise. The Reject Shop Limited has a 100% owned subsidiary, TRS Trading Group Pty Ltd. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, the Company opened 14 new stores, including a store in Western Australia. As of June 30, 2006, the Company operated 112 stores.
