United Group Limited is a diversified infrastructure and industrial services group, which has operations in mechanical and electrical engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, maintenance, construction and business process outsourcing, including property services to the infrastructure and resource sectors. The Company operates four business lines in 13 countries: United Group Infrastructure, United Group Rail, United Group Resources and United Group Services. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006 (fiscal 2006), the Company completed two acquisitions, PREMAS and ALSTOM, as well as a number of smaller bolt-on acquisitions. During fiscal 2006, its four major contracts with Telstra, National Australia Bank, the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade and West Coast Ayer Rajah Town Council, Singapore, were all renewed up to three years.
