UXC Limited is engaged in the provision of services predominantly in the areas of asset management, inspection and environmental services in the utilities sector and business services, primarily in the information, communication and technology space (ICT). The Company has three divisions. The Business Solutions Group provides ICT solutions and services to medium and large corporates and governments across Australia and New Zealand. The Utility Solutions Group is engaged in asset and data management for utilities; the provision of utility meter installation and reading services, and related data management and GIS services. The Intellectual Property Ventures Group is involved in the identification, development and commercialization of intellectual property. In February 2007, the Company acquired the business and selected assets of CVM Pty Ltd. In May 2007, it acquired business and selected assets of The Trenchless Group. In June 2007, the Company acquired Vision Energy Pty Ltd.
