Ventracor Ltd, based in Australia, is a global medical device company that has developed a blood pump, the VentrAssist left ventricular assist device (LVAD) for patients in heart failure. The Company operates through the VentrAssist product segment. The VentrAssist segment has designed and developed a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) and related technologies. This segment utilizes specialist medical companies internationally to assist in the production of artificial heart pumps for the clinical trials. Final testing and assembly of the artificial heart pumps is carried out in Australia. The consolidated entity's divisions are managed in Australia, with operations in Australia, United States and Europe.
