West Australian Newspapers Holdings Limited is an Australia-based company engaged in newspaper publishing, commercial printing, radio broadcasting, the provision of a radio communication facility and the cinema exhibition, cinema advertising and film distribution industries. It operates in two segments: the publishing industry, and the cinema exhibition, cinema advertising and film distribution industry. It also operates in Travel, Real Estate, Tourism and Employment categories. The West Australian is the Company's flagship publication. It generated advertising revenues, particularly from the Pilbara News (Karratha), Kalgoorlie Miner, Albany Advertiser and South Western Times (Bunbury). The company publishes the tri-weekly paid Geraldton Guardian and two radio stations coming under Redwave management. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, Albany operation launched two new publications.
